About the Kool Kids Web Design Team:

Kool Kids consists of three members, Aiko, Pola, and Jim. All of us were students in the Webmaster certificate curriculum at North Seattle Community College at the time they designed this site, in June of 2000.

Aiko Ishiyama came from Yokohama, Japan. She has A.A. degree in Business Administration and A.A.S. in Graphic Design/Illustration. She spent several months to work as an intern at DDB, Seattle. She currently works for publications at NSCC as a graphic designer.

Pola Yip is an international student from Hong Kong. She graduated from University of Washington with a master's degree in Marine Affairs. She is currently pursuing a Webmaster Certificate from North Seattle Community College. Her career goal is utilizing the Internet to disseminate environmental information to diverse audience worldwide.

Jim de Witt came to Seattle in September of 1999 after 16 years in Asia. He holds a Physics degree from the California Institute of Technology, and has had 3 years of classes in fine arts at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. He hopes to combine interests in Science, Technology, the Arts, and Asian Cultures in a new career path in web-design related technologies. Other sites designed by Jim include Asian Art Post, and Studio Michele, both of which are on-line art galleries. Two other sites under development by Jim are Tiny Shells, and The Bamboo Window. Each of these sites was designed and maintained by Jim.
